ZEITGEIST (from the German meaning, “the spirit of the times”) is an interdisciplinary theatrical experience. The story takes place over the course of a single night and follows Caroline and Anders, two twenty-somethings just out of university as they meet and form an almost instant connection with each other. Caroline invites him to a party later that night. Over the course of the evening, they drink, dance, and wrestle with what it means to be a young person in the 21st century. They grow closer but Caroline reveals that the party is actually a going away party. She’s leaving for Germany in the morning to spend the summer there. Despite this, they decide to spend the night together. In the morning, she has to go, and he has to stay but they are full of the bittersweet possibility of the future, with or without each other.
